Elkhorn Logan Valley Public Health Department (ELVPHD) will hold the Norfolk Vaccines for Children (VFC) Immunization clinic at 302 W. Phillip Ave. The immunization clinic will be held the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Wednesdays of each month from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and the 4th Wednesday of each month from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. ELVPHD’s immunization program provides childhood immunizations to VFC eligible children as well as for private pay and most insurances. Immunizations are needed for infants at ages 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 12-15 months & 18 months. For school-aged children, immunizations are needed prior to entry into kindergarten (ages 4-6 years) and prior to entry into 7th grade (11-13 years).
Adult vaccine including Tdap, Influenza, MMR, Pneumovax, TB testing, and Hepatitis are also available by appointment. Public health aims to make people and communities healthy and safe.
