In honor of American Heart Month, Elkhorn Logan Valley Public Health Department (ELVPHD) is inviting you to Love Your Heart by attending our heart health education series! ELVPHD’s Love Your Heart series will begin in 5 towns throughout our district in February: Madison, Pilger, Tekamah, West Point and Wisner. This series will cover topics such as: blood pressure, nutrition, physical activity, medications, stress and more. This class series is 8 sessions and we encourage people to attend as many as possible to get the most benefit. If you are not able to attend all 8, then you are still welcome to register for the series and attend any/all that you are able to.
Following are the locations for each of our Love Your Heart classes:
Tekamah Chatt Center: Begins 2/3/23 at 1pm (each Friday for 8 weeks)
Wisner Senior Center: Begins 2/9/23 at 10am (each Thursday for 8 weeks)
Pilger Cooper Family Community Center: Begins 2/10/23 at 9am (each Friday for 8 weeks)
Madison Senior Center: Begins 2/13/23 at 1pm (each Monday for 8 weeks)
West Point Sunshine Center: Begins 2/13/23 at 1pm (every other Monday for 8 sessions)
