Vaccine walk-ins are welcome at any of our three office locations (Norfolk, Tekamah, Wisner) Monday - Thursday. Please note that walk-in vaccine services are subject to nurse availability and wait times may vary. For people with disabilities and/or older adults who are homebound, please contact our office at 402-529-2233 to review options for receiving vaccines.
If you are requesting a travel vaccine (such as yellow fever or typhoid) then please schedule an appointment several weeks in advance as those vaccines are special-ordered.
Items to bring with you to your vaccine appointment:
- Insurance Card (if you have insurance) - Private/commercial Insurance, Medicare or Medicaid.
- Medicare covers the following vaccines as under Part B coverage: Flu, Covid-19, Pneumonia and Hepatitis B. For all other vaccines, you must have Medicare Part D / drug plan coverage for no out-of-pocket cost (such as for the Shingles & RSV vaccines).
- For children's vaccines: please bring any vaccine records that you have from past vaccines that your child has received.
