Elkhorn Logan Valley Public Health Department
will be holding a mass medication dispensing drill at the Nielsen Center, 200
Anna Stalp Avenue, in West Point, Nebraska on Thursday, September 8, 2016. The
purpose of this training and drill is to help prepare the community in the
event that a mass vaccination or medication dispensing would be needed in a
public health emergency. This event is
intended for: Public Health Staff and Volunteers; Medical Personnel; Emergency
Medical Services Personnel; City and County Employees; Law Enforcement;
Emergency Management.
This event will begin with an informational
seminar held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Following lunch, a check-in and drill orientation
will be held from 1:00PM to 4:30 PM. Lunch will be served for those
participating in both the morning and afternoon sessions. Please include your lunch RSVP when
registering.
