Stanton County area residents are invited to help fight a major public health issue, prescription drug abuse and misuse. Safely dispose of unused, expired and unwanted medications at the Healthy Communities Initiative (HCI) Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, September 6, 2014 in front of the Stanton County Courthouse from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. No questions will be asked! Drug take-back days are paid for with grant funding from Drug Free Communities. (Items not included are intravenous solutions, injectables, syringes, mercury, oxygen containers, chemotherapy/radioactive substances, pressurized canisters and illegal drugs).
