Elkhorn Logan Valley Public Health Department (ELVPHD) is excited to announce that Stepping On class series will begin on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 4:30pm. This class is open to the public and will meet each Tuesday for 7 weeks at the Wisner Senior Center. Stepping On is an evidence-based program, and studies have shown that the fall rate among Stepping On participants was reduced about 30 percent compared with those who did not participate in the program. Class topics will include: vision, outdoor safety, footwear, medication, home safety, mobility aids, balance and exercise. In addition to the program facilitator, guest experts will lead some sessions. There is no cost for the class but free will donations will be accepted.
