Do you have standing water on your land? Or are you planning a
camping weekend or heading out for a night of ballgames? The Elkhorn Logan
Valley Public Health Department is giving out mosquito dunks and DEET mosquito
repellant wipes for free to
residents of Burt, Cuming, Madison, and Stanton counties. Mosquito dunks can be
added to standing water to help reduce the mosquito population and are harmless
to fish and other animals. DEET wipes can be used on skin to repel mosquitoes
and prevent bites. Help prevent large mosquito populations and the spread of
diseases like West Nile. Supplies are now available on a first-come first-serve
basis and are available for free at the following locations:
